I think its because more creative avenues are almost expected of Gaga. Whereas Ariana's fame is almost entirely made up of her musical success. Her solo work has completely eclipsed her time on Nickelodeon, so It's not surprising the GP forgot she was an actress in the first place (or in some cases, didn't know at all).
