NUTELLA 22,626
Fast chorus is still catchy. Say It chorus is a glitchy groove. Let You Go chorus has a beautiful, 80's-esque sound effect that I LOVE. The rest, pass. She has such a powerful voice... but I am almost ALWAYS underwhelmed by her stuff, for one reason or another.
HeavyMetal Halcyon 1,873
Okay: Frequency has me gooped. Let You Go is a great bop. Sorry To Myself is such a Robyn 2011 vibe and I’m living for it. Little Bit is so so fun. It reminds me of Jpop in 2014 and some of the kpop of today. Say it is so good! That glitchy vocal production is everything! This album is a dance Pop Bible. Chromatica Forever
andy232000 13,036
Almost done with the album and I am pleasantly surprised! I liked Fast and Kiss when they first came out but thought maybe the Dance Pop genre wasn't for Demi, but there are some great tracks on this album. Frequency and Little Bit are SO good. and honestly I think the album could've sound more one-note, so the fact that production kept changing with each song enough to not feel same-y was good too.
Agunimon 609
This album is pop perfection.

LauraPalmer 1,773
i’m a rock demi apologist so i was apprehensive about this at first, but this was a solid album. i think she finally found the subgenre of pop that really works for her. frequency and sorry to myself are my favorites right now Edited October 24, 2025 by LauraPalmer i’m a woman, i insist, it’s my life ♀

StrawberryBlond 15,365
Not going to lie, this is the most generic album she's ever made, let's be real here. Considering how short it is, I wouldn't be surprised if she heard Brat last year and wanted her own version of it in the hope of getting similar success (I also think Zara Larsson did the same with Midnight Sun just a few weeks ago). Kiss, much as I like it, is totally ripping off Guess. But saying that, every other song was decent enough. It literally was good-bad-good-bad from tracks 1-11. Fast, Frequency, Sorry to Myself, Say It, Kiss and Ghost are the big standouts and the rest, while certainly not terrible, were unremarkable. But then, if the whole album played from beginning to end, I wouldn't feel the need to skip any as it's extremely cohesive and no track outstays its welcome. But please, Demi, don't sell out again and go back to making rock. Holy Fvck was her best ever album and to go from that to this is nothing short of criminal. I don't get why critics have ranked this as her best ever album and saying that this is her perfect sound. I think her voice sounded much better previously, she's holding back here and is just trying to get a mainstream hit this time. The silver lining to not achieving any with the most mainstream sound will hopefully be her returning to the rock sound as she knows she's got nothing to lose now.
