You may joke, but it makes me wonder if some of them genuinely get a thrill out of this. As she says, if she knew she was going to have to a fitting and try on second hand clothes, she'd naturally know to wear underwear. Do these men know it's going to be a female fitter and that's why they want to commando? They're lucky she takes it in such good grace because there are many who would consider that to be sexual harassment. Seeing someone's genitals surely shouldn't be an occupational hazard of a simple outerwear outfit fitting.

I'm the same. I guess men are used to being partially naked in front of other men when they use urinals, so it's a second nature to them. But as a woman, I don't feel comfortable being naked in front of other women. If I have to, obviously, but I'd rather it was for a medical reason. Being naked while changing or showering is a big no-no for me. At school, we'd do this trick when changing for PE when we could take off our blouse while our t-shirt was already on. I didn't even like being in my underwear for more than a few seconds. I thought you being French would be more comfortable with this but I suppose we're all different.

I'm glad someone else says it. Certain clothes must be uncomfortable against bare skin, especially between the legs. And if a zip gets caught....And as a woman, for hygiene reasons, going commando has never been practical to me. Lately, I've been doing it at home under a skirt or a dress which feels quite comfortable and freeing but in anything with a gusset? Ouch!
