Head Empty 25,404
Ironic how Hocus Pocus of all franchises doesn't know how to let dead things rest 7
DoTheDebtDance 35
I mean she read the script for Hocus Pocus 2 and thought that was amazing, so this endorsement is more of a warning about the movie's quality than anything else. 10

RAMROD 111,313
The story have closed out beautifully on the sequel. Wonder what's the third one about 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。 ✧*:・゚ you supposed to cook for us, AZ (˃̣̣̥ᯅ˂̣̣̥) ♡♡♡
Roughhouse Dandy 12,128
Love seeing seasoned legends getting to do projects they enjoy whether it be high quality or not This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss. 3
andrewj0hn 397
If it does happen I can totally see the Sanderson sisters doing a musical number to abracadabra to cast a spell. That would be worth the admission fee tbh Barbra please!
bowlsofbrett 550
After that second one… The sequel failed to realize what made the first one so great. In the original 1993 film, all of the other actors played it straight while Bette, Kathy, and Sarah provided us with the camp and outrageousness. They also made sure to keep a sense of impending doom because after all, the witches were trying to kill kids. In the sequel, every actor was hamming it up. You don’t need every actor to be campy when you have the iconic Bette Midler to provide us with the goods.

All it did was make references to the first one, like there are practically zero memorable moments from the sequel that aren't just riffs or references to jokes from the first one. It honestly feels like a script written by AI.

It's ALL jokes from the first movie with a worse song. Oh and Hannah Waddingham's in it for 5 seconds at the beginning for some reason.

They disappear into gliterry dust, rather than entering a peaceful afterlife. But Mother Witch is still there, and there's the fourth black candle at the after credits. So the3rd film might be having connection to that. And mother witch is so powerful, she might be able to free the sisters? 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。 ✧*:・゚ you supposed to cook for us, AZ (˃̣̣̥ᯅ˂̣̣̥) ♡♡♡

NUTELLA 13,683
Sarah Jessica Parker & Bette Midler in a mad dash to destroy the legacies of their most special projects in exchange for more money. In a perfect world, Sex & the City ended after the first movie the Sanderson sisters died for good in 1993... the abominable sequel never happened... & the nostalgia remained unblemished 🍂
RichAssPiss 4,993
Hocus Pocus 2 was a dumpster fire. I have no hope for 3 unless I see them put it in theaters. It was a good sign for Freakier Friday that it was a theatrical sequel. Hocus Pocus 2 was a streaming play with no quality control.
