I feel like there's definitely something to all this weirdness this era. I'm one of the ones that definitely thinks there's something either purposefully offensive or ignorantly offensive in that song about her being the white stone after her man has suffered through the black ones.

And that girl in @RAMROD's TikToks might wanna call that woman a "white savior" but I might call her a "pick me" instead 'cause "a neighborhood full of kids that look just like you"? We dragged American Eagle and Sydney Sweeney for less, sis  

Taylor was openly supportive of Kamala and her fiance is apolitical (which is stupid but what do you expect from white straight men) so Idk if we can throw straight up allegations at them or even draw any proper conclusions about it all but dismissing all these little things feels...

Except that isn't the case at all. 

The lyrics clearly set up a contrast between being depressed and coming out of that depression. 

Depression is culturally always depicted as dark and black. Happiness is always depicted as its glittering opposite. 

Honestly, the album is **** but can we at least not regurgitate nonsense.

I feel like people are doing far too much with her right now. You really don’t need to find all these crazy reasons to dislike her, you can just dislike her for her music and things that she has actually done or said.
