First they said they were just friends for like a decade. Then Dan has has mental break down era and went on hiatus for a year or two, and then came back with his video I'm Gay, finally coming out. Then Phil came out. And I SWEAR Dan soft-confirmed they're dating but I couldn't find evidence again ever since which was intensely frustrating. And then for the next few years they kept very pointedly calling each other 'friends'. Yet they built a ****ing house together! Which they live in but with separate bedrooms. But the last apartment they 'lived in' they confirmed was actually a lie and they rented that apartment as basically a set to film videos and actually lived in the apartment below so who KNOWS. And every time you try to ask anyone about what they think the fandom goes mental and tells you it's none of our business to speculate So all this time I've been like wtf so do they live together as just friends but it makes sense to live together for work and financial reasons? Were they once dating but broke up and still live together? Do they have a complicated on-again, off-again relationship? Uhh they were some of the biggest Youtubers back in the day. Dan has 4 million subs, Phil has 3.8 million and their combined channel has 2.9 million. Phil was literally one of the first ever content creators to exist and one of the only OGs who is still going. Probably the only OG to still be getting a good amount of views.
