The Fame Monster 4,465
I remember watching Grave of the Fireflies as a kid — I cried my eyes out. Titanic was another deeply emotional experience for me; I probably watched both films far too young. But La La Land hits the hardest. I watched it while I was an exchange student in another country, falling in love with a local. I saw so much of us in that film — the passion, the dreams, the distance. And just like in the movie, we eventually went our separate ways. Find your freedom in the music

Another very close one: EO. I couldn’t sleep for days after watching EoE. I was basically stuck on “…huh” mode for a while. But that lost shot is one of my favorite images ever and I use it as a desktop whenever I can!

phantasmas 10,758
Selena - no explanation needed i cry every other day over her Requiem for a Dream - not for the weak (some scenes cannot be unseen), definitely gives you feelings of hopelessness and distress to the point you want to vomit JoJo Rabbit - although incredibly funny, it still does a good job of pulling you back to the horrible reality that many people faced in Nazi Germany especially the toll it took on the youth of the day Coco - i can only watch this in Spanish and i cry from start to finish every time and i dont even like Disney movies like that Pan's Labyrinth - another film that shows the toll that war takes on the youth, also loved the message that your imagination and love for humanity can get you thru the most tragic times 1

iAmToton 34
Dancer in the Dark. I remember walking out of the cinema and everyone was dissociated. Lars von Trier really knows how to shake people’s emotions. We are monsters and monsters never die

vanna shintuyu 11,079
A lot of my movies have already been mentioned, so I'll add in Fried Green Tomatoes. I watched that way too young and cried instantly so hard just thinking about multiple scenes in that movie.
