Zach Bryan is using his music to speak out against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and its ongoing raids under President Donald Trump's current policies.

In the Grammy winner's latest song, which he teased with a short clip on Instagramon Friday, Oct. 3, Bryan took aim at ICE, singing, “My friends are all degenerates, but they're all I got. The generational story of dropping the plot. I heard the cops came/ ****y mxtherfxcker, ain’t they?"

"And ICE is gonna come bust down your door / Try to build a house no one builds no more/ But I got a telephone/ Kids are all scared and all alone,” read the lyrics. “The middle finger’s rising, and it won’t stop showing/ Got some bad news/ The fading of the red, white and blue."

Bryan captioned the post with the last line of the song in the clip: “The fading of the red, white and blue.”

The song, seemingly titled "Bad News," comes days after Bryan reportedly shattered the record for the largest ticketed concert in U.S. history.

The White House responded to the controversy with puns of Bryan's songs:

"While Zach Bryan wants to Open The Gates to criminal illegal aliens and has Condemned heroic ICE officers, Something in the Orange tells me a majority of Americans disagree with him and support President Trump's great American Revival. Godspeed, Zach!" said spokeswoman Abigail Jackson in a statement.

Listeners immediately ripped Bryan's latest snippet as a betrayal of conservative values.

"Stick to Pink Skies, dude," wrote Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary of DHS, in an X post, referencing another Bryan song.

"He just drew over 112,000 fans to what became the largest concert in U.S. history last week," podcaster Benny Johnson wrote on X. "Now, that will never happen again. When will they learn?"

"No name Country artist Zach Bryan, slams ice for deporting criminal illegal immigrants," wrote Mike Engleman on X. "It's a stretch calling him an 'artist' because he has no talent!"

"Who's ready for the Zach Bryan-Dixie Chicks tour?" country music singer John Rich wrote on X. "Prob a huge Bud Light sponsorship for this one."

Rich added: "Zach Bryan has every right to record a song bashing law enforcement, and fans have every right to keep supporting his career, or not. Capitalism isn't cancellation."

The few songs of his I like have always been kinda guilty pleasures for me because I'm of course deeply skeptical of a white male country singer, buuut maybe I underestimated him?

criminal illegal aliens

I can't imagine unironically referring to another person like this in a country built by colonists

Eat sh*t, nazi scumbags

Lemme add this man's tracks to my anti-America playlist

You're stinky

A country singer a few years ago also got Dixie Chicked by saying something pro-LGBTQ+ in song (or I think even just mentioning it). The party of free speech everyone.

He’s always been liberal. Glad he’s doing this and his music is actually good.

I cannot believe we really live in a timeline where the US government responds to any slight jab at them. It’s pathetic.

Its kinda funny that they finally cancelled her a few years ago even though her entire career was built on challenging conservative beliefs and making progressive country music….. even funnier that the MAGA ding dongs will still be bumping to the dozens of country songs they aren't aware she wrote for other artists 🤭

We must accept on the fence people in order expect real widespread change. At least he has a willingness to partake and learn about progressive ideas. A lot of these people come from backgrounds where they were taught otherwise, and they are not perfect by any means, but i can at least respect that he is headed in the right direction. Growing up in a conservative family, a lot of people are extremely brainwashed and scared of change. I am one of the few lucky people who were born as a free thinker, but others have a LOT of unlearning they have to do before they start thinking forwardly. And the fact that he is willing to address this knowing his audience would likely push back is very respectable.
