The demand for her is huge rn, Mayhem era will be remembered as one of her best career moves. I believe from now on, she can put out something even less commercial, experimental and the world will be watching and waiting. I’m not saying she will ditch the radio structure completely. She loves pop and a good melody. If she put out, for example, a fully industrial-adjacent album after Chromatica, it would be forgotten quickly. They remembered GAGA is GAGA thanks to Mayhem, now it’s the best time to remind the world how versatile she is, once more. Not that she has anything to prove, but i think we can be surprised by her next ventures. this is just an opinion and some fantasy lol ...has anybody seen my disco stick?
StrawberryBlond 14,932
On the contrary, she tends to make great disco tracks. And I say that as someone who doesn't even like disco for the most part. What she's created on Mayhem has been especially enjoyable. I really didn't like the disco resurgence that came about a decade ago (too bland and generic for me) but Gaga does it right.

She just knows how to write a killer pop song. It’s the best thing she brings to her collabs. She has a great sense for memorable melodies and ear worms AND a distinct style she writes in, too (ma ma pa pa pa)

Gaga basically said the mission statement of her project was to take all of her favorite underground influences and make them pop/commercial and I think that will likely always be the angle We have forgotten our public MANNERS
