Ployd 857
I really enjoy him as an artist, but I think this is too many years in a row with a Male artist headlining the show. I'm sure he will be great though

Normally people who are doing the Superbowl are huge or had massive hits worldwide. Looking from a perspective based on the Netherlands, Bad Bunny is really small. He only had 3 top 40 hits here with a #13 being the highest. Last year Kendrick as well, he had only 6 songs in the top 40. I dont like the choices since Jay-Z took over, except of J-Lo, and she sadly had to deal with sharing with Shakira. The Weekend was okay, but it was Covid, so idk. The legacy hip hoo was terrible, Rihanna was boring (yes I said it, and even though I compliment her for doing it while being pregnant, it was boring). Usher was boring and Kendrick I couldn’t care less. We need some huge woman with the power to grab attention for 15 minutes to do it again. Also, is it just me or are overdoing it by choosing people of color/latin americans for the past 5 years? I am all for inclusivity, but it almost feels like overdoing it the Netherlands hot 100 being your criteria for what makes someone worthy of the superbowl i'm also going to pretend I didn't read that final part about them having too many PoC artists mother, what must i do?

darkgaga 5,644
Ah I see Americans here keep pretending they are the center of the world. Almost forgot how important and superior you were. Also, the last line had nothing to do with racism. I was noticing a pattern, same is happening in other parts of entertainment. Just look at the casting of Snape in the HP reboot

Also some artists wont get the same amount of success in every country, I mean kendrick lamar doesnt have that many big hits outside of the US and yet he still did the Super Bowl

Its not like 80%+ of the population is white and they are disproportionately always just choosing ppl of colour to appear woke or inclusive. Nearly have of America is not white I think u may be vieweing this from the lens of someone who lives in a Country that is predominantly white and it might explain ur perspective why it seems like they are going out of their way to choose a POC but i can assure you that is probably not the case For everyone else judging u tho, they probably failed to take into account in ur country it might indeed be very disproportionate and a appear a certain way. But again, America is not the Netherlands... Edited 40 minutes ago by Economy
