dit 46,520
Gaga made so many sonic and career pivots that she shed and regained and shed and regained lots of fans, demographics and groups in general. It's why her career trajectory seems kind of chaotic if u were to look at a graphic of her peak and dips in cultural and commercial relevance. That said, that's exactly what makes me respect her as an artist...she takes bold risks. Some pay off and some dont but it's still interesting and it clearly is fulfiling for her. What I learned is that some periods in Gaga's career wont be for me but I will still largely root her on while I can enjoy other artists works and then eventually she will release or do something I genuinly enjoy again. Gaga has kind become my comfort artist in the sense that I dont necessary stan her the same way as I used to where she was my main and almost only popgirl I was obsessed with but rather I alternate her with other artists I enjoy and then when I need my good old comfort artist I listen to her discography and then I dip out again but I always end up coming back to her in the end just like a good cozy netflix film u know is reliably entertaining no matter how many times you've watched it throughout your life lol.
