She have got her flopped era during Lover, but... people forgotten cos she was saved by pandemic. And during the same period she released two pandemic albums that gave her a serious street cred to critics and listeners alike so she back to being famous again, or even more famous than she ever been, reaching a new high in her career,  when she released Midnight, and announced her The Eras Tour. She is literally blessed by music gods.

I remember Lover and everyone saying she flopped and the questionable singles lol But I wonder if she'll ever experience Katy Perry levels of flop 

I feel like that era will come one day despite people thinking it's impossible. No one saw what happened to Katy Perry coming but I think it'll be easier for Taylor to come out of that

It'll come if we enter a huge economic depression. She'll try to be the exception to people not spending money on artists anymore, and she'll quit the industry or do or say something to get herself in trouble. I don't think she'll allow herself to stoop down to Katy's level of failure. But one day people won't care for her anymore and I cannot wait for that to happen.

considering Lover had two #2 hits and a #10 song in the US as well as broke a lot of records and broke into new markets for her (China and a lot of Europe), I would hardly call that a flop era. The music was mid but the reputation tour really boosted her global presence and that era was going to be very successful if the pandemic hadn't prevented her tour from happening. She was even doing festivals for the first time.
