I haven't even watched part 2 yet and i was PERCHED for it and a huge fan of the series

so im sure if i haven't yet, there are MANY people who are yet to and the viewership will continue increasing

No it just means that they binged the full season when part 2 was released, so it boosted the views of part 2 on release week over part 1.

It's people who preferred to wait to watch the whole season without waiting.
