Lord Mayhem 3,583
Trump failed so miserably trying to get Putin to stop this war....all the pageantry, red carpet, limo ride, verbally public praise, etc and NOTHING This man rolled over Trump, never agreed to a ceasefire, has gone well past the deadline Trump gave to meet with Ukraine, has had no sanctions imposed on him directly yet every other country that does business with Russia seems to get their tariffs increased, and since that Alaskan summit has ordered some of the worst attacks since the war began and NOW is provoking Poland???? How has NATO not stepped in yet??? 1

God I hope the answer is no... Well idk what you would call this but its definitely not wise to provoke a NATO nations airspace...he must be extremely desperate to end the war and take Ukraine... Or he is testing how much he can get away with especially after that flop Summit led to zero consequences He's laughing at NATO rn cuz still...nothing Edited September 10, 2025 by Lord Mayhem
Hydrangea 8,198
Europe needs to react strongly to this or else it just shows putin that nato is essentially toothless. Russia will push until it is pushed back. It’s time to push back For once, so expect a strongly worded letter of condemnation in 4-6 business days Looking down at my $t loser misery

Last week they were controlling the airspace for 4-5 hours during the day. Even though I’m in the middle of this situation it doesn’t seem upsetting. I believe this will be a provocation, nothing more. Russia has already started a hybrid war with us years ago, the amount of trolls sharing russian propaganda (and poles, even politicians, falling for it) on the internet is getting out of hand. I don’t think they would reach for more. I think this is right, I believe they could be taking a leaf out of China's book of letting your enemy destroy itself without need for direct military action with the US Coven Season

Being in NATO is actually a big disadvantage for Poland, because if Poland were not in NATO, it would have to find other solutions how to deal with Russia and the only effective solution would be developping nuclear weapons and it would be the most effective solution and the best one Now being in NATO, Poland doesn't feel the urge to develop nuclear weapons because it thinks article 5 is gonna rescue it but this is controversial - as you've said Poland was invaded by Germany and it had a security alliance with France and England prior to 1939 and they broke their promises and did not come to help Poland when it was attacked. I firmly believe the same would happen again: other NATO members will not help Poland. They, neither Trump, Biden, Obama nor Bush even invited Poland to important meetings about European security and Poland is not on the table Likewise, Ukraine had the Budapest Memorandum and US/UK don't give Ukriane their best weapons and sacrifice Ukraine to weaken Russia I'm pretty sure if RU attacks PL, NATO will likewise sacrifice Poland, too, to weaken Russia  Edited September 11, 2025 by Ayesha Erotica Your boyfriend comes over with a bit of gun oil Says he wants to step on new soil

Somehow I think he could take a piece of Poland. He could take the Suwalki Corridor (the land area between Kaliningrad and Belarus) conventionally and then NATO powers would fight back conventionally, too .... Then Russia would make its classic Thursday Doomsday nuclear warnings every Thursday for like six weeks in a row, nobody would listen.... Then Russia would detonate a small nuclear bomb in the Atlantic Ocean between France and UK, outside their territorial waters, and say it will detonate another nuclear bomb closer to FR/UK if they don't let Russia have that piece. Then FR&UK would backtrack and tell NATO not to engage with fights, but with symbolic words instead. Spoiler Although all NATO countries are equal in the treaties, there is a secret hierarchy and Canada can expect more real help than Poland, Estonia, Romania, Slovakia, etc. Likewise Belgium can expect more real help because UK/FR wouldn't want to have Russia's nuclear silos there. Because FR/UK will not risk a nuclear war with Russia over a country that has no priority for them and is peripheral for them. In Germany, Sahra Wagenknecht will then give good reasons to let Russia have that land. Then it would be up to the US and US advisors would tell the US gov if both US & RU engage in nuclear exchange, that in the end China would emerge as the winner and that it's not worth to retaliate. And then they would agree to let Russia have this piece of land. Ah, and then they would put Poland under loans and debts to pay back conventional weapons that they lent to it. US cares more about itself being a superpower than about Poland. Imo, it's only logical that Poland will be abandoned (as it has been multiple times before). That's also why the US forced Ukraine to give up its nuclear weapons. Russia is waiting for a better opportunity, so it is not invading Poland this year. Ayesha Erotica 1,959
@Economy That being said Poland can now make the best of its situation and it has lucrative options other than nuclear weapons. Recently, it was suggested that it should develop moors and wetlands to stop Russia's tanks. And I think it's a brilliant idea. ( https://www.wesodonnell.com/p/europes-new-secret-weapon-against ) The wetlands would be a return to the old ecological state of these borderland regions. Historically, there were moors and swamps in the region around Kaliningrad and Elblag, and these were drained by the German Empire. Ironically, once they were drained, decades later Russia came, defeated Germany, and occupied Poland and East Germany. Who knows how history would have unfolded if the moors had remained. In any case, I think the swamps would be an effective defense.  There are swamps between Crimea and the mainland, which is why Ukraine did not even attempt to recapture Crimea in 2014 and afterwards. And along the border with Belarus, artificial waterways could be created, similar to the Dnieper, which serves as a border. But it seems that Poland is not willing to do so because it would require resettling people, which politicans do not want because they care more about votes and being re-elected ( and moors are unpopular because they bring mosquitos and people have to move) than ultimately about Poland's security and Poland expects NATO to rescue it instead but NATO is led by other countries' politicians, too, and they likewise care more about being re-elected than sending soldiers to Poland, which is equally unpopular among voters. However, it is also necessary to show initiative on your own and Poland is too passive. Now Poland called the UN Security Council for a session tomorrow which is pointless because Russia will veto it, and all Poland does is talk and discussion but no real action, which is a sign of how weak and clueless Poland is because a strong nation would show peppiness. "For now, Warsaw and Helsinki plan to focus on state-owned lands to avoid clashes with private landowners. However, experts admit larger-scale projects would inevitably displace farmers and foresters." I'm sorry but with such an attitude Poland is not doing enough to deter Russia. It wants to deter Russia but at no costs, and without making people upset. It's not gonna work. https://thegaze.media/news/nato-frontline-states-turn-to-wetlands-as-natural-defence-against-russia  Greetings to your hot Polish wife, by the way Edited September 11, 2025 by Ayesha Erotica Your boyfriend comes over with a bit of gun oil Says he wants to step on new soil
