I'm Canadian (not your 51st state), I have no side, just point out the facts given past events.

 

Yes your system is bad, and it doesn't matter who shoots conservatives, but it doesn't change the fact that it will elevate Trump regardless. Not to the degree his own shooting was, but you guys down there better hope Charlie is alive and the shooter is not left wing or donated to dems in the slightest.

No they lost because their candadite was horrendous. Then to add too it, they just played videos of Dems blocking Universites, streets, screaming, yelling, and the average middle American said no thanks. It didn’t matter to 95% of people WHY someone was protesting, or what they stood for, they just saw it as “Typical Whiny Liberal”. Just how it works. You’ve got to get peoples attention on the issues WITHOUT being/acting like a “typical Liberal” people see online. 

 

And o Be Clear I know tons of Liberals (I just don’t side with either and in Canada here its a bit different) but I know many who are very middle of the road, they like things on both sides but tend to lean left. But Americans don’t see those people because no one posts them in a TikTok LOL. They post the extreme (on both sides) and in the end people vote on which they agree more with.

If a candidate being horrendous, that should be completely disqualifying for Trump lmao. Dude is single-handedly creating an economic recession in the US by implementing policy he ran on.

Nah, just shows that he knows how to turn out enough low propensity and low information voters to win narrow victories. If you’re gonna sit here and tell me with a straight face you think he was somehow better than the alternative (who, in spite of her flaws, wouldn’t have dragged the US into a recession, wouldn’t be trying to freeze funding for cancer research, sending people to foreign gulags without due process etc), I have genuinely no idea what to tell you.

I’ll be the first to tell you that Dems suck at *messaging* (and need to work on policy as well), but there’s no way in Hell, unless you genuinely think people voted to sandbag the US economy and wage war on major cities (things that have resulted in his approval rating cratering), that you can tell me that people made the *informed* decision to vote for Trump. People were essentially tricked into voting for Trump and many are expressing buyer’s remorse because they didn’t realize that the guardrails in place during Trump 1.0 were the only things preventing it from being the shitshow 2.0 has been. Many, wrongfully, made the assumption that Trump = good economy and are, both literally and figuratively, are paying the price for their ignorance.

Please explain? Am I understanding it correctly that you're saying we shouldn't make use of fundamentally democratic instruments if human rights are being targeted by the government? We should stay silent and just let it happen? 
I can- and will not imagine where we would be as a society atp if the generations before us would have lived by this (imo) worrisome sentiment lol.

Pls stop perpetuating the narrative that people fighting for democracy are playing into the cards of fascist parties or people because fascists don't live by the rules of science, facts, empirical evidence nor democratic values either way, so whatever the "left" does will be targeted against them by right wingers.  Their whole game is based on narratives that are designed to devide society - especially a democratic one.
