Gonna have to re-burn some cd's for the car .... again. She floored me with Antidote, then just as I was clearing my head she hit me hard wirh Abra and PC on the Howard Stern show (the referee looked long and hard at me after that before letting me carry on). And now this. The ref hasn't even got involved this time, the medics were just straight in with the stretcher.

That was quite exceptional imho, a slice of heaven. And I think she IS struggling with her voice. The album version is a high-pitch-fest. Here, she's quietened the whole thing down, swapped some higher notes for lower ones and only lets rip later on in the song, and the whole thing is just gorgeous.

And no interview ? I'm gonna speculate that that's because of her voice. Stephen comes on at the end and hugs her (it's on one of the yt vids) and she says thank you and she sounds very hoarse.

I am positively amused at how in the beginning we were collectively like, "WTF jumpscare!!!" at that chorus, and now... literal tears whenever she sings it. 

The songs even feels incomplete without it. Ugh, Gaga. 🤍

Is this her way of saying that the label and Netflix forced her hand to make The Dead Dance as a single for all the promo when she doesn’t really care about it and would rather give her fans what they actually want?

I can totally see this being the final single of the era with a music video similar to the visuals behind her (maybe even some home footage of her and Michael) and then have it end with a close up of their hands together and her ring.

I think this would be the perfect single for her to release and go on a 10 year hiatus where she can have a family and get married, and probably just do things behind the scenes like write and produce with younger acts that grew up with her.
