I wonder why she chose to perform on Colbert & why she picked VIY. It all seems a bit random, but hey, I'm not complaining. VIY is my favorite track on MAYHEM and I'm holding out hope that it'll get single treatment. I'd be ok if it doesn't, but it more than deserves it. Btw, it baffles me that y'all will praise every single piano/acoustic performance she does to the heavens and back, but then be absolutely against the idea of her releasing a ballad-y/stripped back kind of album. I need her to release a ballad album in the future. She's got the talent for it, and it's clear that many people (particularly the GP) enjoy it when she does more stripped-back stuff. mamo 19,204
I absolutely LOVED this. Her best acoustic/piano performance this era so far for me. Not sure if anyone here has seen the theatre production of Sunset BLVD (Jamie Lloyd/Nicole Scherzinger) but it was quite reminiscent of that for me with the lighting and her face being projected behind the piano. So minimal but still just as captivating. Ï could be your girlfriend for the weekend...

Not against it by any means but personally I hate what she did to You and I studio version so I’m hesitant about studio renditions. I looooove her stripped back stuff. Some of my favorite moments of her artistry. But something happens in that studio where I rarely like it as much. The vocals often don’t feel as dire or immediate, the instrumentation too worked on. Her material is so beautiful on its own and sometimes she over tinkers a studio version to a point where it’s less interesting than a performance (happy mistake says hello). IWantYourLove 1,413
My god she has improved so much - both vocally and in terms of her piano playing while singing - and she was always absolutely incredible. 4 year old me just KNEW she picked the right pop girl omg

The dead dance video is awful, she doesn't care about music anymore, she canceled her Miami tour date because she didn't want to perform. Her role in Wednesday is too small, she doesn't care about her fans. Where is the music video for Zombieboy? And she promised to release Princess Die!!! She's wasting her time, nobody listens to Mayhem anymore! Boo no promo [random female artist] does it better! And her streams??? Tragic!!" **** you, little monsters. Listen how passionate and beautiful she sounds performing her new songs. She's flawless. This thread is 100% positive and you’re the only one bringing parasocial spite here lmfao

RichAssPiss 4,952
MAYHEM needs an unplugged. The piano versions of Disease, Abra, and, VIY are all stellar. It's still wild to me she's never had a solo unplugged when piano versions of her hits is a career draple for her.
