Let’s be honest about dead dance

[PartySick 175,631]

Yes, let's be honest

It's funky af and gets you moving along with the best songs from Mayhem

[Lord Mayhem 3,742]

My only way to justify the simplicity of it is that it was a MAYHEM demo Gaga constructed with the show Wednesday in mind...

I think like myself and other fans we are more disappointed in the funky disco chorus and wanted Gaga to stick with the 80s synth horror trance vibes the song was building up to...

Love it. Didn’t love it on first listen but now I think it’s fantastic

This. Our taste is very different than the GP's. Remember they like Taylor Swift, KPop Demon Hunter, and Benson's Boone. Out of all of Renaissance, Bey released "Break My Soul." Decent track (including TDD), but the public likes something that is watered down. People are deeply unintelligent and basic-- it sounds harsh but it's the literal truth in 2025.

To be fair. I think the average Gaga fan is also kinda basic. They claim they want experimental or industrial music and then when they hear actual experimental or industrial music and not something watered down with pop music to still be appealing, they don’t like it or get scared.

I'm already tired of it. It's ok but I'd rather get a Zombieboy or Shadow of a man MV instead of this

Could you imagine a Killah X Zombieboy X love drug triple feature film ?! 😭

I really enjoyed it from the get go, and that is my truth

It could be the next Die with a Smile. It’s a great single for the general consumer.

Because it has a video, I think we’ll be hearing and seeing it for Halloweens for years & years to come…

I like it now, but fear that in the years to come I’ll be so tired of it like “Thriller”, “All I Want For Christmas Is You”, etc. etc.

I personally enjoy it a lot, tho it feels a bit redundant on MAYHEM after Zombieboy. Between both songs, I’d choose The Dead Dance tho

[KindnessPunk 2,556]

I loved it upon first listen

After VMas performance, this is the great song to sing live and dance!!!!!

[Cavadour 2,753]

I loved the song and the video from the get go. I always felt it was part of Mayhem. The theme, the dolls, the frenzy...

[Santanasay 51]

I understand the song  after tonight’s VMA performance. The music video also helped. I never hated the song but like most people I’m harden like a dry scone. I need a presentation and she gave just that.

I love it. And I hate how pretentious some Gaga fans are when it comes to fun music. It’s one thing when you don’t like  a certain project because it doesn’t fit with your own personal taste, but I’ve seen so many lil monstrosities completely shìtting all over the song (not you, just in general here and on IG) because of how simple it is, and it comes off as annoyingly pretentious lmao
