She's extremely busy with the tour on a tight schedule and she wouldn't be able to attend the VMAs anyway.

This is a good compromise - we can't expect iconic performances all the time. Hopefully she has more time to prepare for the Grammy's or who knows for the next VMAs if the era is still alive then.

Yeah I agree, but ive been waiting for so long for an iconic Award show performance. I thought the Grammys was going to be that, and then she performed a slow cover tribute song. Hopefully the next Grammys will have a great performance.

I think maybe you should wait until you see the finished thing before you pass full judgement instead of just fan cam videos

Damn it's unfortunate that she has vocal issues right as she has to film the VMAs performance. She looks and sounds very good though, I'm obsessed with her hand flapping thing she does during TDD.

Her schedule for this tour is brutal and honestly idk how she's able to handle it when she's already (understandably) tired vocally and maybe even physically.

I think a lot of strain probably came from the screams tbh, she screams a lot during the shows

If anyone does that for 2 hours in a row, multiple times a week, then it causes strain 

She will need to stop 99% of the screams and perhaps rely more on the soundtrack until the 10-day rest

The last thing we want is long term vocal chord damage
