RainOnGaga 177 Posted yesterday at 03:30 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:30 AM The Original Mayhem(without KLF, CSTH, TDD) is not available in Spotify. If you see Lady Gaga's profile it only shows the new Mayhem. In fact, under popular release, Mayhem is not there as it used to be River: It has no been removed, it has been merged with the reissue, scroll down and you will see "1 more release" click on it and choose the old Mayhem and it will change the page to the original Mayhem. 7 2

Been listening with CSTH and KFL for the past few months, but TDD really closes off the first half of the album and sets the tone for the second half so well. monstertoronto 10,235 Posted yesterday at 03:42 AM Share Posted yesterday at 03:42 AM It’s basically a stealth deluxe without the branding. I wonder if it would have an additional sales/stream boost if they had given it the normal type of deluxe launch. But regardless I love thet the songs are added.

I've been listening to the album with CSTH and KFL for the longest time. Honestly, it was weird to go back and listen to it without those two tracks because the album feels a lot emptier without them And I agree, all three of them really bring the sound of the record together: CSTH adds another much-needed industrial, electronic pop-rock song to make the two sides more balanced, KFL blends in so well with SOAM, and Dead Dance combines elements of Zombieboy's disco/funk and LoveDrug's 80s synth. Maybe because 2 of the songs already existed in a physical album version and TDD is only 1 new song otherwise. Maybe Gaga felt it was a cheap variant to make a big thing of a re-release and instead just tagged on the new songs I appreciate her not doing the TS cheap sales tactics. They kinda piss me off tbh. Makes the numbers just feel desperate and not real

I also think, in the OG tracklisting, LD -> HBDUWM -> DCT felt like a bit of a letdown because I feel like there was both a lack of a bridge between ZB and LD, but also because it felt like there wasn’t a climactic center piece on the album and I feel like TDD fills that role well and it’s placement on the tracklist actually makes me appreciate the cooldown of LD -> DCT much much more. Makes the numbers just feel desperate and not real I also think there’s a non-zero chance that there might be an actual deluxe in the pipeline (I only say that because of the TOTAL MAYHEM rumor and the fact that there’s at least one lyric that was featured on her website from a song we haven’t heard yet).
