Ill disagree with the CEO comparison. Those are hard jobs too and even more legitimate if it was the founder

That's fair - I guess I meant those random "board of directors" dudes who don't seem to do anything meaningful but make crazy salaries

Do not think so and honestly, I do not think she will. It feels like every other day where monsters get mad at her for not promoting something enough, or not taking enough opportunities to make her songs a hit. I really do believe she cares about the art fist and foremost, if she did not then her career would be way different.

She can't exactly help it if people buy her music, see her on tour, watch the movies she in and buy her make-up. If she does her job and gets successful from it, what is she supposed to do, give it up because she's got too rich? Makes no sense. I'd much rather someone like Gaga - a woman, a liberal, a bisexual LGBT ally, a philanthropist, a talented musician and actress whose art has brought joy to millions and a genuinely good person - becomes a billionaire. If anyone deserves to be a billionaire, it's someone like her and if we get more people like this reaching this elite, maybe the world can be a better place. Billionaires aren't going to go away but if more of them are good people, it's the best we can realistically hope for.

I get what you're saying, but I'm not blaming her (I don't know about others, but I'd say they neither are). I blame the system allowing her and whoever at her status quo to be so

With all due respect, that reasoning is bloody bad. The decay of current democracy comes with the collective thought that we're equals to others just because of their identity. As long as we all get to have the same access to deserving human rights, we no longer get worried about economic resources, when in fact the latter is the most important topic to settle individuals to a true state of equality. The next social debate in line will be exactly that (and is already starting to)
