So, of course, now that we know her “incompetent!!!” team did in fact account for the VMAs, we now have a host of new reasons to complain: the wrong song, wrong format (live vs prerecorded)… As someone who enjoys a nap after doing little more than walking my dog, I can’t imagine the mindset of any fan who sees TMBT and thinks “this lazy lady!” if she doesn’t get transported by helicopter between venues to do even more singing and dancing - live, no less - on that night. And her newest dancer Michael reposted the announcement, so it will include dancers. She's giving the VMAs a viewership boost with her name, so it's very likely that they'll be giving her a bunch of awards. First of all, it makes NO difference to us because the majority will be watching from our homes. Second of all, a pre-recorded performance is 100% going to be better because they have a full day to edit, pick the best shots, and master the audio. It’s going to look better than every other performance. Plus according to rumors Gaga will be performing at the USB arena, just not live. She’ll record the performance the day before with a reduced crowd. It will look like she’s there. The only true complain I will entertain is that they scheduled two many dates close to the show, hence no time to rehearse a full Video Vanguard Award Performance.
