Again, I still maintain that it’s reductive to insinuate that the hook only works on the level of being a viral dance instruction. Also it’s not that it’s an especially controversial opinion so much as I don’t really agree with your reasoning. But I should prob stop dredging this up given that we clearly just see it differently.

does absolutely nothing for me, the fact it's catchy means nothing if the song isn't good

kinda annoyed it's been wedged right in the middle of mayhem too, at least DWAS had the excuse of being a mega hit

i would have much preferred if zombieboy was used as both a single and song in Wednesday (and maybe tim burton should stay away from music videos...)

It's fine. I sounds like a B side, like the idea is there but the concept isn't developed all the way. I won't skip it but it's not that memorable IMO

i'm probably in my first 20ish listens, i feel that the intro/first verse are te weakest... it's somber and not my favorite verse in Mayhem. but the chorus soars high, repetitive and catchy, definitely great POP music. 

if you measure that against other songs in gaga's genius, it might not be on par with the abracadabras, bad romances, and judases of her discography. but it's a fun song and i think it's here to stay!

It’s fine.  I would rather Zombieboy be the song for Wednesday though.  It’s much better.  Still shocked the record company and the show didn’t see it this way.

I like it, it's a great and fun side project to me

The song is good, the video reminds me of 80s style kind of simple but it's cool and memorable 

Everything doesn't have to be huge to be enjoyable

I think the song is good, it's catchy, you know... I feel like this is the first time I've felt the need to complain or feel a little disappointed because I don't usually criticize Gaga nor do I like to do it, if I don't like something, I don't like it and I stay quiet, period. But I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this is not authentic? I mean, I feel like Gaga looks like a clown in this video, like it's very forced or aimed to be a trend on TikTok. I didn't like the choreography, I feel like it's something Richy would do, I expected a slightly more iconic choreography or something more striking in the video. The fact that it's in black and white, I feel like it doesn't favor it, I don't know, maybe Abracadabra was a spectacle. 

I know that in the era of streaming things are no longer promoted as before, but maybe do something more with those songs, one more video or something, I feel that MAYHEM came strong and went away in the blink of an eye. And now they are trying to put this song as if it is part of the album and the other original songs can choke

Exactly, btw as soon as I saw that doll I thought that it would be the Gaga cameo “given life” at some point lol
