I like the song, I agree it lacks some flair especially on the second half of the song (a bridge would have been really nice) but still I can see it as a nice addition to the album. Can’t wait for the video (in my case it will increase the enjoyment of the song just like the live performance of the beast did)

You continue to operate under the assumption that this song was made just for tik tok, so you are dead set on that aspect. You cant use that as a comparison retroactively because never before has Gaga attempted to do a song for tik tok...tik tok did not even exist back then.

What many users are trying to point you out is that Gaga's use of her low tone and spoken singing appears in other songs, so implying that she pulled that out of her ass as a desperate attempt for tik tok virality is just not valid claim. But to entertain your question: 

How Bad Do You Want Me, Love Drug, Disease, Killah, Don't Call Tonight, Alice, Rain On Me, Babylon, Venus, G.U.Y. Born This Way, Judas, Scheibe, Black Jesus, Dance In The Dark, all have some deep-spoken breakdown, or layer. And some came out after Wednesday S1

It slams first time, then go for a rest, then later on whilst your walking down the street or going somewhere, turn it on full blast…….. gives 80s dance movie musical vibe, like when full cast will be going mad dancing in the street, full of heart, passion and funk energy xoxo 💀🕺🏻 thank you Gaga

I can’t watch the video cause I’m at work and I want to fully experience it later, but I’ve been listening to song nonstop this morning and it continues to grow on me. It was like that for me for most of MAYHEM tbh. I didn’t love it first listen, but as I got into it more and more, I started to like/appreciate it a lot.

Honestly I think half of the bitterness is that we've been prepping since March for this and it was never going to meet expectations 😂
