On the inauthentic/it will be a hit debate. 
It feels unorganic in the sense it is so obvious that this song, her Wednesday appearance etc are all as a result of a very organic social media trend from Season 1. This reads like trying to recreate that organic viral moment. So I agree that it feels forced as a result. 

As for it becoming a hit? Who knows, payole from netflix will help a lot. But social media has always had a habit of mocking and rejecting things designed to replicate a previous viral trend.

I don't even hate it but authentic, it isn't. It's quite possibly THE most contrived song Gaga has ever released; written very intentionally for forced virality (which will never work). I'm 90% sure this won't be a hit because it has no replay value and patronises listeners by giving them a thinly-veiled and inorganic instruction to dance on TikTok ("do the dead dance").

I wasn't thrilled the first time I listened to it, but now I'm hooked! The disco bassline is catchy, and the production is great just like MAYHEM. I loved the progression from verse to chorus and I think the song has a good storytelling overall, the pre-chorus works as a great hook in my opinion. Oh and amazing vocals, as always!!! Can't wait to watch the MV!

I genuinely don't think anything about the song is authentic. It's been intentionally manufactured to be recreate the success of Bloody Mary in Wednesday and on TikTok. It might have a camp music video directed by Tim Burton but that doesn't make it authentic. And sure, not everything needs to be authentic, agreed - but I personally enjoy Gaga most when she's being authentic. That doesn't mean singing sad songs or playing a guitar. I think Abracadabra is the most authentic song Gaga has given us in YEARS.

Some of y’all are such a snob. honestly guys songs don’t need to be always be deep and complex . TDD is such a fun an entertaining song for this season. Mama need to have fun too she always gonna have complex and profound songs that only sound in your room or your mamma basement idk.

I honestly hate the "if you could do better why aren't you" argument. Everyone has critiques of everything without being an expert, that's why it's an opinion. It is just used as a generic way of dismissing what someone is saying without using critical thinking and just means they've ran out of arguments because the point you make is a good one.

The song does come across as a bit inauthentic, and I don't think it's condescending to say so at all.

And yes it feels a bit manufactured in the sense, that it obviously seems like it's trying to generate a viral moment. It may not be the case but it FEELS that way and that's the point.
