A horrible idea all throughout. She’s played NY countless other times so signaling this show out of the pack already is a an invite for misunderstanding. And if the countdown was an idea that wasn’t ready in time for the first 13 shows then it’s a horrible plan to start it now because countdowns are inherently a hype tactic. If nothing gratifying comes after the timer is done then they are just playing with fire for the sake of it. Can’t wait for the meltdowns!!!

Or we can calm down and simply ignore it and carry on as we always did with past shows 😂 I mean, a countdown appeared and it was intriguing at first, but when you look at it being part of "Voices of Mayhem" and if you think about how much she spoke about community and belonging in the interviews for Mayhem when she discussed the creative process, I think that's really not related to a new release but only for the NY show. Who knows, I can't see the reason to meltdown this time though: we made it all up by ourselves

Yes but she did bring up the themes of community and belonging quite a lot while promoting Mayhem and she is from New York, a city that shaped her and where she has her fondest artistic memories: I think it's just a question for the fans attending the show about their own life stories, maybe they put it like this to avoid random messages about **** or pop stan wars. 

I mean, it's literally in a box saying "Voices of Mayhem: New York edition", I think it's pretty clear. We just got excited and got carried away given the fact that we have a new song on the horizon and a shitload of rumors lol

Nah, It simultaneously makes sense and it’s also a bad idea. it’s not like, oh IDK, the countdown was not there for any prior show and there isn’t an imminent new song and MV pending release from now to next week, oh wait. 
 

Both things can be true. Fans over expect and Gaga’s team most times don’t consider the optics when doing stuff, so I’m not going to gaslight other fans into thinking they are crazy for expecting something.
