The appeals court said the eye-popping penalty — which rose to more than $500 million since it was imposed in early 2024 — violates the U.S. Constitution's Eighth Amendment, which prohibits "excessive fines." But more importantly- guess that shows us how "rich" he actually is... he shouldn't have a problem paying that fine if he is so wealthy. Or even better, jail time! Even community service. Imagine how noble it would be to see him doing jail time or community service as a way to show NO ONE is above the law.
