She puts out an album that has more potential hit songs than probably any album she’s ever put out, and then she essentially outsources for a new single. But then it begs the question of why Interscope/Gags choose the least hit-friendly songs prior to the album release. I love Disease and Debra (and I can understand why they took the risk with Debra), but GOE/VIY are easy choices to set the album up for success.
