Sounds like the magic is gone. Gaga is just wiping out all of the people from The Fame days. :teehee:

She is killing them :nails: Like Space Cowboy, Colby O'Donis, now comes RedOne :creepflop:

I will never understand people that say this... How can an album be outdated when it's brand new!? So because she puts it out a few months later, that means all the songs will sound old!? Even if their brand new!? Lol makes no sense.

Yes, actually. The music industry's trends can change at any moment. While ARTPOP is currently known to be dance/EDM, that trend is getting older by the day. If Gaga and her producers already have tracks completed on the album and are waiting for other producers like RedOne who haven't even begun working on it yet, those tracks are getting outdated each and every day. The sound technology is also getting older. I know that music is timeless, but for Gaga to get those hits and stay relevent, she should be getting her music out there while it's fresh. I normally wouldn't comment this, but the whole "ARTPOP in year 52836382" thing is making me worry for her and my fellow fans.

Meh, he (like Zedd) just doesn't want to give the impression that he's guaranteed to be on it because he probably doesn't want Gaga to feel pressured to include one of their songs on the album if she doesn't like it. What he is saying is not really any different from what Zedd has been saying this whole time.

exactly this, he's one of the first producers to help develop Gaga's sound, they work incredibly well together, and most of his productions have been singles or fan favorites.

inb4 he was talking about ARTPOP part II. :dead:

Ok here's my view, I couldn't give two hoots about who produces the songs on the album, I don't care if RedOne was the reason gaga had massive commercial success, I trust gaga's judgement and I know she'll do what's best.

Also, if the new singles and album is a massive commercial success, yay that's fine everyone can enjoy it, but i'm fine with it being more selective by not reaching number 1 or whatever, the only reason that would be bad is other fan bases would have a reason to taunt us.

But to be honest, Born This Way was bound to be less commercially successful as it was an album that didn't follow the trends in the charts, however, I think ARTPOP will be hugely successful I can just feel it, a come back to the success of the TFM era. This is based on the trend i've noticed in edm lately and I think ARTPOP will be fresh no matter when it's released, it feels like they're doing stuff that will not have been thought of by anyone else. I'm pumped! :) :excited2:

I like ur positivity:)

It still doesnt make much sense, since when gaga first came with "the fame" i dont recall EDM being the most likable music genre in 2008 but "the fame" changed that and it became a trendsetter. There r many proofs like these, in the music history like the beatles, mjs thriller changer pop music forever, the same with queen, nirvana etc. So what im trying to say is that it doesnt matter the music genre u use, but reinventing urself and if it comes with a bang than u have made it.:)

Have to say I'm slightly upset about this as most of Gaga's best work has involved RedOne, however if he's right and the magic has gone then I guess it is best for the album. I will always love me a bit of RedOne though... :(

I don't understand why everyone is acting like this is some outrageous comment. He basically said that they've been working together but haven't came up with anything spectacular yet. They have more recording sessions soon to see if they come up with anything worth including on the album. There's no point in Gaga including a Redone song just because it's Redone. It has to be a good Redone song, but this song hasn't been made yet.
