Well MNDA was EDM trash and that was definitely meant to be robotic sounding music so I will agree on that but Rebel Heart (at least to me) doesn't sound so autotuned except 3/4 songs. But again, on the Rebel Heart tour and Celebration tour she sounded absolutely full of life and was singing from her heart, and beautiful vibratos

4th Time Around 4,503
Her voice didn't sound as autotuned when she did Popular with The Weeknd also. Madame X had some excellent songs but her voice was too touched up and robotic sounding and I'm hoping she and Stuart avoid that approach for Confessions 2. Addison Rae 16,644
this is cute but i hate the way her vocals are processed nowadays. i recently did a dive into some of her 2000s discography, she sounds so different now. sitting on his lap sipping diet pepsi

Mister G 10,427
Confessions was a huge album during my Freshmen year in college. Truly a masterpiece and one of her best. Problem is...will the sequel borrow or draw inspiration? Is this really a sequel as far as sound? I ask cautiously because this isn't the first time someone did a Part 2 to an album (Nicki, Kylie recently with Tension) and I worry that the sound that worked for 2005 may not work 20 years later but who knows this is Madonna after all and 40 years of a career she can absolutely do whatever she wants. Unless she goes the route Gaga did with Mayhem where it's self-referential but also new at the same time. Edited July 22 by Mister G
OMF 3,453
Those photos are a bit…cringe. I am looking forward to hearing the new songs though, first time she has attempted to do a direct sequel for arguable one of her most successful albums ever and her last truly big (commercially) one. Not an easy feat. Wondering if she will add features this time and also if she will again sample ABBA or another band.

What is your literal problem? Madonna's had n°1s and significant cultural moments in five different decades, what have you done? AyeshaErotica 1,704
Guys, are you living behind the moon? This is old news and known since February already I love the original album and it is Madonna's masterpiece and I'd love a sequel but it will be certainly a challenge to live up to the Grandeur of the first album. Hope she doesn'r rush it and carefully chooses her sounds. Confessions on a Dancefloor is a milestone in pop history and (re-)introduced the dance genre into pop, that later became more popular. Hung Up (obviously), Sorry & Push were the only ones that have stayed with me. But please god let this album have at least one bop. I know she can do it. U forgot Forbidden Love, Get Together and Jump. It was a damn good album IMO - her last.

For example, Get Together has the much needed school bell and I Love New York doesn’t have the annoying kids outro. I’m just gonna put this here for people who’ve never heard it. It’s quite a masterpiece. thank you, those people need to put some respect on her name

I guess I like Jump too... but mostly because of The Devil Wears Prada lol Last good album?? 😲 But Hard Candy had 4 Minutes, Give It 2 Me, She's Not Me & The Devil Wouldn't Recognize You⭐️. MDNA had Girl Gone Wild, Gang Bang & I'm Addicted. Rebel Heart had Living For Love⭐️, Bitch I'm Madonna & Rebel Heart. They're dated albums but I'd argue that- besides Hung Up- those songs all serve harder than anything on Confessions.
