While I agree that the Eras tour did help set a new standard. 

I think the specific parts you're discussing aren't necessarily part of that Eras tour standard though. 

The light up wristbands have been a present part of many stadium shows for the past decade - especially Coldplay. And we're just seeing them more now because we're seeing more stadiums tour than ever before. 

I do think Taylor helped popularise stage screens based on her staging. Especially for performers who aren't skilled dancers - its a great way to accentuate simplistic choreo. And its entirely possible the Poker Face chess sequence used that idea as a spring board. But there are a lot of acts who have done similar that are influential to Gaga so they equally may have inspired Gaga with that staging. 

Of course, everything you're saying is true and I agree with. Still... Taylor is the most recent act to have done these things in a big way, so it seems most logical to point her out as the one potentially on the mood board. Especially in an era where HBDYWM exists

As I mentioned, I believe these elements were central to the visual aspect of the Eras Tour, which was arguably the biggest tour from a pop act in recent memory and a major cultural moment, which is making me think Gaga might have taken a few notes. And once again, nothing wrong with using an idea when it's good and when it makes a show better. It's literally not about who did it first, tho I know y'all love to turn everything into a **** contest.

Congratulations for purposefully trying to say something unnecessarily controversial in the hopes of having people tell you that it was unnecessarily controversial just so you could congratulate yourself for crafting it that way I guess 

Just because those elements were important to the Eras tour doesn't erase the fact they were important elements to other tours. Gaga's probably been to other concerts before, I mean Beyoncé went to a Lizzo concert for her birthday a few years back, celebs go to each others' gigs all the time. It feels a bit ignorant to assume Gaga got the idea from Taylor for things that have been industry widespread for years before at gigs Gaga has probably attended before. Just because the eras tour was widely mediatised doesn't automatically mean all the other artists immediately wanted to steal and copy every part of it. 

And let's be real here, Live Nation most likely is responsible for a lot of this too since they fund, promote and produce these shows they likely suggest the screens and the bracelets to all the artists now as part of the options as they probably have suppliers for these.

I never said she was the first ever, I just said she started doing it (in her own career, HER first time) at the Superbowl and then liked it so much she used it again for subsequent tours which led to it becoming more and more commonplace as a result

I've been thinking that if she's gonna dedicate time to have a child after this era, she might release ACT II or maybe a collection of unreleased songs from multiple eras as a gift so we'll have something new while she's away... The lyrics of Princess Die on the merch are too suspicious.

I won't fight with you, I think I've made my point very clear and it's also obvious to me you have a bit of a bias. Merely said Taylor is the most recent act to have done it in a noteworthy way, and I think the timing of Gaga choosing to do those things now is interesting.

Then again, my post wasn't meant to be inflammatory, but I expected biased stans to twist it and turn it into something else and boy you didn't disappoint.

the only bias here is in your assessment of me, without knowing a thing about me.  it has been done in noteworthy ways enough times in the past, by enough artists too, for gaga to have been able to have gotten the idea from a variety of ways. it's actually more bias on your part to infer and assume that TS is the only person who could have inspired gaga with this idea.  nothing was twisted or turned into anything else either, you literally said you thought gaga was inspired by taylor's tour and I simply told you I highly doubt that. If that's twisting and turning things for you, you might need to book an eye test bestie.

My bias about you is solely based on the very few info at my disposal: your profile features and what you're saying  So if you don't want people to have a certain opinion of you, maybe don't be so obvious.

Once again, in case I hadn't made it abundantly clear (I mean, who the hell needs an eye test here): Taylor is the LATEST to have made such a show in a major way, which explains why I believe Gaga might have chosen to do it on THIS specific tour. I am no more a Taylor fan as I am a Bey fan, this is a simple observation on my part. Now if you want to turn my very reasonable statement into something else, that's on you.

Pretty sure she's doing it to hype the crowd while exiting/ending the show! And the suspense of "omg what song is she going to play at the end", so I'm not really keen on the idea of her playing +53 unreleased songs from just ARTPOP, that kinda seem unfair for the rest of the albums. 😅

EDIT: Also me think's once she releases a deluxe or "Dead Dance", she might play it as the last song too as a surprise encore song then maybe work a way to insert it on the rest of the shows, probably on Act III?

Geez if that's the case I'm praying Lyon won't get a ASIB song  lmao. I would LOVE songs from Joanne though because I wasn't able to attend the JWT as she had to cancel the tour  I would love to hear live PI, DH or DIC.
