All he had to do is to show data like drone footages, estimations etc. to validate how they come up with that number not this AI generated mess. Now BBC Verify can reply by bashing how ridiculous his response was, and if things get bigger Guinness record can be retracted.

No one needs to prove anything to bbc who are inaccurate themselves and Guiness should have their own verification procedures before awarding records so if they retract  then it means they aren't as credible as they claim.

They take claims from government officials as a valid source. They already use the word “estimated” in their record page. There have been numerous cases where they retracted records. It can happen.

i couldn't imagine another country's press making such inquiries about a british festival. Like its really not that serious even if the record gets retracted we all saw the insane crowd
