But if we think about it, that's clearly not a problem when they offer it to male artists The Weeknd, Justin Timberlake and Usher were either dancers or very theatrical performers though. The rappers were invited to perform together. I think Miley could maybe work as part of a larger set but maybe not as a headliner.

I see that or her headlining with lots of dancers around like Rihanna I'm sure there are other options tho I just hope it's not another boring male artist or band. Also...I dont think she's put in the time yet to deserve such a large major platform There are tons of other major artists who have yet to be asked so this would seem extremely out of place She would literally do it at the same point in her career at which Gaga did in hers. And she could easily fill as many songs in her setlist as Gaga and Katy.
vmpiregrn 917
I thought the Superbowl performance is supposed to be for American artists though…? I know they had Shakira perform, but she performed alongside Jennifer Lopez, who is American. M.I.A. was with Madonna. So unless she’s going to share the stage with someone else I don’t see how this is possible, but maybe I’m missing something
Lil1th 430
I think there's others more deserving that haven't done it yet. I wish Gaga would do it again, I always thought her superbowl could have been so much better. But, Dual Lips would be entertaining and she's had a longer career than Katy when she did it, so it's fine. Papa Papa rot see

It just still feels like she's too "fresh" and needs a few more albums in her to get that spot. There are way too many other seasoned major artists that have yet to hit the stage that definitely deserve to be chosen first 2

Jakesnyders673 27
Dua should do it after her fourth studio album and a couple more moderate to big hits.

Idefix1999 35
She would put on a hell of show. I've attented three of her shows since 2022 and she has only gotten better, not only performance wise but also how she interacts with the audience. Be The One, New Rules, One Kiss, Don't Start Now, Levitating, Cold Heart (with a surprise appearance by Elton John), Dance The Night and Houdini would make a perfect medley of hits. And yes, some of those may not be the huge hits by US-american metric, but you can't deny that she IS a global star. Surely even more than some other stars were at this point of their career
