Every day that goes by without VIY being a single is a HUGE waste

Earlier today I was in this big theater premiere event, and when we left the theater there was a DJ playing music in the foyer, and Vanish Into You was playing 

It was the beginning of the chorus and immediately I was like “I love this song, what a massive hit” and then 3 seconds later I realised it’s VIY and that NO ONE HERE knows it but me. No one was singing along because NO ONE KNEW this song. I looked around and it felt absurd, like if Bad Romance was playing in a room full of people and no one knew it. It was SUCH a weird feeling.

Clearly the DJ knows it, i wonder why people think making a song a single in the streaming era would make the song a hit? I mean the song is there, available for anyone to stream it, if they want

You really don’t see how giving a song a single treatment helps it spread? Do you think it’s a coincidence that Abra is both a single AND the most successful song off mayhem?

i think ViY would be a great choice but it seems something is happening with HBDUWM right now, huge playlist increases the past days, being added at very high positions to new created summer playlists and sent to radio on Indonesia and New Zealend very recently.

Plus, it's doing well on radio in Australia, I think if we are to get something, it will be HBDUWM imo.

Abracadabra is the most successful song mainly because of the good music video which has a lot of replay value and is for me one of the best songs if not the best on the album, I mean it's the most single worthy, ARUTW wasn't released as a single and it was huge (I know, it has a movie behind it but clearly people loved it and are streaming it), a lot of Taylor's songs do good numbers and people know them without them being singles, I know she's a huge superstar with a lot of fans but Gaga is too, people know she's out with a new album, if the song hasn't taken off on its own making it a single isn't going to change much IMO. Abra is such a good song and deserves to be a huge smash, the song climb when Gaga was doing Coachella-Mexico-Copacabana but now it is going downhill which clearly means is promo sensitive. I feel like with Disease they made a lot of payola that should have gone to Abra

i was doubtful we would get any single from the album tracks tbh but all this movement suggests something happening with HBDUWM, not ViY.

Yeah it’s sad but once again Gaga is not sticking to her initial single release plans it seems. With HBDUWM gaining popularity I wouldn’t be surprised if she released it next, IF she releases another single at all. Having said that I stick to what I said when Mayhem was first released, there are many songs that could be singles off the album. VIY has been one of my clear favourites though and hope it manages to materialise as a single with a proper MV.

The thing Is the Song needed real promo alla million reasons.

How bad do want teen has a younger reach.

I still don't think making It a single Will change much but It could reknew energies for the second part of the era, the actual tour. Otherwise the whole thing lies so much on abracadabra.

I wonder if Interscope might Release some physicallls since theres not the problem for the album anymore. She somehow could still do some fraud tò have a top 10 single if they think its worthy it

A BIG reason for me is a music video to accompany a single. It CAN make a big difference. Even if it doesn’t become as big of a hit looking back at gems like Marry The Night makes me want to see it materialise.

Yeah dont get me wrong, i would LOVE to see a MV for VIY and for a lot of songs too, Abra's left us wanting more MV, she doesnt need to make a song a single to release a MV tho

Thats , 💯 her label using the bling from Mastercard. The Australian positive reception means english market Is likely on board. It Is Indeed a strong indicator that Interscope and her team are working on this project. She still has done very Little performances promo or International promo. So mayhem still has life and hasn't lost too much momentum. Lets see. They Better decide fast though

Sabrina new song already dropped on spotify and the competition will get tougher by the week (especially on radio), I think something is happening really soon IMO, like next week soon.
