NUTELLA 7,618
Gave it a few fair shakes today. Sonically flaccid & samey same. Made me (a bit) more appreciative of Marina’s new album in comparison, though- so it wasn’t a total waste of time lol 2

Ziggy 11,591
Solid album, generally pretty nice production, some bad lyrics, too much spoken word, diet pepsi and the singles are def the best tracks generally speaking. It's a solid album and I like that it is a bit of its own thing even where there are parts I don't personally care for. At least it's not soooo safe and generic. howsAnnie 387
After reading all the positive feedback here, I had to give this album a listen! Tbh I really had to bring myself to do so, because when I saw the album art a few days ago, I was so turned off by how extremely generic and boring it looked that I immediately lost all interest. People were shï**ïng on BTW's album cover and font back then, but THIS?? That blue font and floral pattern alone is one of the most ugly things I've seen on an album cover in quite a while, WOW! And I really don't hate on the artist here, I don't know anything about this girl and she, unlike the design of her album cover, is very pretty - and talented, I'm sure! But after listening to the whole thing, I am sooo regretting that I didn't spend the time listening to literally anything else. Or nothing, like listening to the birds outside would have moved me so much more! Again, I don't hate this girl, and I am honestly happy for everybody who enjoys this record! I'm also happy for her, I wish her all the success in the world! (Just please, world, don't let this become the defining sound of 2025. lol) But that so many Gaga fans absolutely LOVE this record baffles me because to me, her voice, delivery and the overall production just feels so bland and unremarkable! It was extremely boring, like the opposite that most Gaga songs would make me feel. AGAIN, different strokes for different folks! If you love it, that's great! But I was genuinely surprised by how generic this album felt to me. Somebody here wrote 90s-inspired...? I guess I was expecting way too much. I'm from Europe, and the 90s here were something else entirely. lol Ngl, some Techno inspired beats and Eurodance extravaganza would have been awesome! What greeted me instead though was some Sabrina Carpenter-level of extremely safe, overly polished and radio friendly H&M-music - YES, that's exactly it! I just remembered that somebody else here used this term to describe the record, and they were SO right!! So, today I found out that Addison (Rae?) is not for me! Wishing her all the best, still. And yoü, dearest reader! 1

lastpopicon 28,428
she released 6 singles and released the 6th single on the 6/6 (day of album release) everything I learn about her makes me like her more tbh, i recommend the zane lowe interview, she's really interesting IMO and her personality elevates her music even more. On the other hand, it goes to show that she knows what slaps and what doesn't which is a plus. i actually do think the album tracks really serve now. and also it is her first album so it makes sense that she was excited to put all her best songs forward i just think she should have held some singles for after the album was out
