Can anyone do Gaga but Gaga?

Just before this, I was dancing home from the grocery store, swirling and twirling to HBDUWM, and had a thought. Since that song is very Taylor-coded, I thought: while I love them both, Gaga can pull off Taylor, but not vice versa.

Then my next thought was: can anyone do Gaga but Gaga? I thought of all the pop girls and honestly don’t think anyone else could pull off Abracadabra, for example.

She is often imitated but never duplicated. And these people and their fans would never admit it that they do either. But the real ones knows, we can feel the vibe. And that's fine we ought to take it as flattery instead.

I had this thought while listening to Judas the other day, I can’t picture anyone else singing that.

You can see the difference when other people are working with producers she worked with, no one could replicate Poker Face, BR, Judas, Scheiße with RedOne

And then you can see the difference between Cirkut's old work with other artists and then with Gaga, it's like a totally different producer, she basically challenged him to create new sounds  with her, she pushed him further.

This was my issue with Born This Way 10. Big Freedia did her own version of Judas and it was ok for what she was doing but not a song you can easily cover or do another version of.

I love and respect RedOne so much, his chemistry with Gaga was like no other. He really tried to bring that sound to other artists then like JLo, Porcelain Black and Nicole Scherzinger but Gaga has that magic that pushed the songs to a whole new level.

Nobody at the moment, she’s truly one of a kind. I’ve been on a hunt for a Gaga type artist to diversify my library and there just isn’t. Shes the perfect blend of talent and artistic vision that strongly brands her visuals and sound.
