When gaga released Joanne she was already an established force on pop with worldwide recognition. you're overlooking the fact that country is currently the main musical genre in the US, in the same way that R&B was back when Ariana Grande and the other pop stars of the 2010s were making R&B inspired music. This is basically how new artists break into an industry. What I hate most about the song is that it sounds like Chappell Roan's last two singles smashed together. Miss Carpenter, you are capable of doing your own thing girl, no need to reheat Chappell's still warm nachos.

Yeah, I understand why they do it but I'm not really sure if it even works, the giver had big promo efforts and didn't wield any significant chart success, (3 total weeks on the hot 100 ), let's see if Sabrina can make it work. Exactly! She’s always included some kind of country influence to her songs whether it’s Please Please Please (vocally), Taste, Slim Pickins, and even her old songs (like Eyes Wide Open).

Killa 17,461
The beggining Is so good luck babe they tried too many musical ideas. It can be the new hit of the week month but this Is much weaker. The giver was so much Better Honestly i listened to how bad do you want me. Its so much Better as a single. A very clean simple Gaga Song knocks this out of the park
