For me, this the best theory so far and it makes perfect sense.

I seriously doubt Gaga would ever release a song she didn't write or have a part in at least (unless it's a Jazz standard or cover).

All these Dead Dance theory has always seemed a bit weird to me. Wouldn't it also be little TOO on the nose for Gaga to release a song called "Dead Dance" for Wednesday? And that they registered it so long ago.

My delulu hope was that she had another song ready for yesterday, but well... :nooo:

We have heard Dead Dance already imo. It's most likely the "Dance... or die" interlude, as Gaga isn't credited on the song. And Gaga is credited on all her own songs when they are released (don't kill me if I'm wrong please)

Why would she register a remix as an individual song on BMI lol

We have forgotten our public MANNERS

I mean, "lash song" was registered and it turned out to be real-ish. :huntyga:

Also the official MAYHEM BALL starts next month, so maybe a new song would generate even more hype. :vegas:

Not sure I understand what you mean?

Gaga is credited on Dead Dance. The writers are Stefani Germanotta, Henry Russell Walter (Cirkut), and Andrew Wotman (Andrew Watt). The performer is Lady Gaga. It was added on the 20th March alongside Can't Stop The High and Kill For Love. For reference, Lash Song was added on 18th of March and the rest of the MAYHEM tracks were registered on the 11th of March.

It has the exact same credits as the other MAYHEM songs (give or take - eg. Michael Polansky credit). There were unused lyrics on her website in the run-up to MAYHEM's launch (presumably Dead Dance?).

"Have been so worried that I'm lost"

"Like the words of a song"

"I try so hard to sing"

do u honestly think that they will release a song from Wednesday S2... now? :icant:

She's meant to appear in part 2, September 3rd, this will give u the idea about when a potential song will drop together with the show's second part.

Don't even think about getting anything on August 6th with the first part, Gaga is not there.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

I thought she was referencing her character in the series when I saw that. The graveyard, the character's last name, the wound on her chest and the fact that she played "Zombieboy", to me, suggests that she might be playing a zombie, a ghost, or an undead individual of some kind.

Those type of characters are very common in Tim Burton's world, and suit the Addams Family franchise. I really want to stay delulu and think it's about "Dead Dance", but it's getting incresingly harder to sustain the fantasy now :ladyhaha:

Thanks for correcting me!

If that's the case it seems more likely that it actually was to be released.

The name still feels weird. Dance or die is the most iconic line this era, and then we have Bloody Mary, that literally has dance in the pre-chorus and is famous because a dance. And then the "Dance... or die" interlude is just Dead Dance rewritten. And for why it was to be registered, I assume because it was aired for over 100 million, but then it also seems weird that no one got striked for that.

Would be nice for it to actually be a real song for release, but our chances feel quite small as of right now

Yeah, it makes me think they just registered the ‘The category is dance or die’ line with Dead Dance because it’s not a part of Abracadabra.
