Why wasn't Happy Mistake part of MAYHEM?

There was a masterplan to cash in on JFADmania, and Harlequin and HM were part of that. There may even have been a world where HM was in the movie, but what happened (whatever it was) happened. Anyway, I love the track and the album, and the Kimmel performance was sensational.

Yeah, as someone who studies music, the vague allusion to “there’s a science to music and HM doesn’t respect it” ain’t gonna cut it lol. The melody is beautiful and it’s all around probably one of (if not her greatest) ballad.
