MDNA vs. Rebel Heart

i love noth, but rebel heart is my favorite album from Madonna.

Rebel Heart is truly a great album. It's the album that made me become a fan, when I heard "Devil Pray" I knew I had to listen to her entire discography 

MDNA is more like a guilty pleasure album, and it has some absolute trash songs and some bops

both have amazing songs omg but I think Rebel Heart has overall more 'good' songs. On MDNA it really is a mixture of amazing songs + terrible songs, there's no 'good' songs.

MDNA has highest highs and lowest lows imo but I prefer Rebel Heart bc is more consistent and has less skips.

I think both are on the same leval for me (very low on her discography) so I'm gonna go with MDNA because I think it's more fun and I go back to the good songs more often, I don't actually revisit Rebel Heart at all

MDNA has William Orbit so you ask yourself, how tf the 2 could create a pop masterpiece like Ray of Light and then come out with this new trash of an album?

Rebel Heart could have been a good album if many songs were out of the album, it's mostly fillers.

Ok, that's mean, I do actually think I prefer MDNA cuz even tho I don't care for the album as a whole, there are some bops on it that I love... Rebel Heart has more songs I don't care for, and the ones I do like I like less than the songs I like off of MDNA 

It doesn't help that some of the leaks were imo WAY better than what we got in the end 

And I'll give that album a double ding because HOW... HOW does an absolute banger that is Addicted end up on a Deluxe and not the main tracklist  

So yeah, for that alone, MDNA #1

MDNA & Rebel Heart both have identical issues. 

Production holding back the tracks. 

Incredibly high highs with truly scraping the barrel lows. 

No cohesion sonically or thematically. 

I lean towards MDNA just because the era felt better - the Superbowl was great, the tour was good and fixed a lot of issues with MDNA tracks on its live mixes.
