Films targeted for men can be mediocre and fly under the radar/ get praised for the bare minimum. Meanwhile female led films apparently have to go above and beyond to get respect. And even when they do, they get hate trained - barbie for example. I dont understand the wicked hate, and I'm so excited for the second movie.
