He’s saying he likes her, and he’s stating that it is pop - true pop that is intended to be MARKETED to a large audience - but he doesn’t think that makes it fundamentally bad, and actually likes it. Lowkey it's affirming to her approach to pop since day one "pop music will never be low brow" during The Fame - or the very concept of reverse Warholian ARTPOP.
