Telephone Part 2 / why she didn’t perform telephone recently

I personally think and believe that telephone part 2 might come sooner than we think. 
all the telephone part 2 buzz has been happening since the CBT movie premiere where she acknowledged it for the first time.

since then she has been teasing the follow up in almost every interview she did and somehow was a huge part of promotion during the mayhem era, whether she acknowledged it in normal interviews, the press conference, posts, the lie detector interview, pictures in studio and the list goes on. And it was believe me very intentional as a marketing strategy telling the interviewers to add this question so it can create buzz around it. 

whats also interesting is that even beyonce teased indirectly during her tour and dressed up as honey B during her interview while you could hear a telephone calling and she picked it up.

What throws me off is that after all the buzz she did not perform it during any of her concerts recently. Do you think it’s a strategy?

sorry but telephone was always meant to be Just Dance prequel and at the she wondered where are her keys, she lost her phone.

so since the phone lost, there can't be part 2.

She didn't perform Just Dance either or anything from ARTPOP, Joanne, Chromatica, or Harlequin. She also dropped the second biggest song from ASIB.

It doesn't mean anything

The planned Telephone sequel was already released but never turned into the sequel. She probably just doesn't have any plans to return to that story right now.

The Beyoncé tour stuff is definitely the most interesting part of it all, but honestly think we'll only get a Paparazzi Part 3 / Telephone Sequel if she fully revisits the fame theme on a future album (otherwise Aura was probably supposed to be the third part and it just never got a music video)

Also the fact the director basically said he added "To Be Continued" at the end just to make it feel more cinematic or whatevs

What’s funny is that we all assume it’ll be a new song. She could use aura/OG sequel and drop what was planned all along

I think it’s probably going to come in some capacity but idk if Beyonce will be on it or not. Maybe a video cameo if that. It would be great promo for bey though so who knows.

but with these interviews, her team vets questions. If they didn’t want it answered she could have vetoed it and/or had a different answer that shut it DOWN. She’s actively choosing not to do that and it doesn’t seem like it’s in some joke-y way to just be silly. I’m not saying it’s 100% coming or delulu like that but it seems like there’s been a lot of changes for Gaga to shut it down and she’s choosing to not do that and instead actively tease its existence

From a PR standpoint, it does feel like every recent mention of a Telephone sequel has been premeditated. And with the success of this era so far I would be surprised if it led to nothing.

A campy music video with Gaga as “Mistress of Mayhem” and Bey as “Cowboy Carter” just seems correct

I honestly don't see it as part of Cowboy Carter. 

If it does exist it's on Act 3 or a Mayhem Deluxe.

I think when Gaga said it will happen, she just said what fans wanted to hear and not disappoint them. I don't think we're going to get it tbh

I dont see gaga as the type to do a deluxe mayhem or anything gimmicky like that. Nor do I think telephone part 2 is happening, she probably just say that to not anger the little monstrosities. 

I do think she has something up her sleeve for the second half of the year, im not sure what though.

That'd be insane of her to do, though. Why even hint at it happening if she was never going to do it, because it'll only disappoint fans in the long run? She's mentioned it too many times and has been too cheeky/coy about it for it not to happen imo.

I'm kinda surprised that so many of y'all think it's not happening or that she was lying about it

I don't think she'd be so cheeky about her answers if she didn't plan on releasing something related to it in the future. Maybe it won't be a new song/video with Beyonce, but I could definitely see her continuing the story. If she didn't want to address it, she either wouldn't have answered questions about it in interviews (remember, Gaga + her team vet questions beforehand, like any other celebrity) or she should've shut it down during the Little Monster press conference. There's no reason for her to lie and say it's happening when she doesn't plan on doing that because that'll only upset monsters in the long run.
