Why did Gaga change iconic Judas dance? The new one is weird to me now since the original is so memorable.

The choreography from Richy was inconsiderate towards Gagas body in general.

Parris takes vocals and bodily health related questions into mind.

I used to like Richy’s choreo for this song but watching it again, it’s kind of all over the place and doesn’t match the song, and it’s a little boring.

Parris’ choreo is so theatrical and has so many interesting moments. The two dancers in the beginning, the group of male dancers segment, Gaga’s strut, the dancers popping up from behind the runway, etc.

Honestly, I prefer Parris’. I like the staging, I like the theatrics and sexy brothel girl feel of it all. I actually think the BTW Ball version was sort of clunky and hokey (which is sort of the theme of most of Richy’s work)

To be fair, all of the choreos he did during the BTW era were good, the quality decreased from Applause on

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I like Richie’s better elements on their own, but Paris’s also has a few good highlights. I would mash them up

She didnt change it she just added new choreo to the second verse which looks really good too.

Cause it sounds like richy does not want Gaga doing his choreo anymore idk

Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . Emphasis on the “Ga”

Richy did better with the breakdown.

But Parris's work fits the narrative and staging.

And beyond that, I always felt like Richy was never able to choreography the entire dance troupe in a way that flattered Gaga as the main act or the choreo itself. Like look at how much random walking there is in his choreo for Schieße vs Parris's.

Parris's works better because she helps choreograph the wider show alongside the dancing and it really enhances the entire performance as a result. The dancers & transitions don't distract and pull focus apart from when they are supposed to.

Parris. Knowing who he is, I will never give Richie credit even if it’s due. He has lost all credibility and rights to his works. He wanted to dig his grave so badly and I will let him! F*ck him, Parris forever

high-key prefer the old Judas choreography so I'm glad at least they kept it in one chorus.

the new choreo isn't a bad fit for the feel they're going with in the Mayhem ball opera house but it's hard to shake off how iconic the original was.

If symptom persists, consult your doctor.
