If you go into any Gaga related post right now it's pretty much full of GOJO and Gaga fans dragging the crowd reception at Coachella. :abra:

Let's make a list of pros and cons for both sides as we venture on.

COACHELLA -

The livestream for Coachella mutes the audience.

Gaga was the final act of the night, meaning people had been partying all day and night to different performers.

USA audience is a bit more "less festive" compared to Latin America (maybe) and it's also the one market where Gaga's weirder electronic, pop sound wasn't always welcomed compared to Latin America.

COPACABANA AND MEXICO -

These shows were purely hardcore fans meaning they would be a lot more invested and in the PRESENT compared to Coachella which was mixed w/ locals, influencers and fans.

Gaga also hadn't been to RIO in over 10 years, so it was obviously going to be a very emotional moment for all.

Copacabana recorded a total of over 2M people, which makes Coachella audience look like a theatre turnout.

I was at both Coachella and Copacabana and I honestly preferred the Coachella crowd because it was easier to hear/see her and take in the moment. It may have looked cool on camera, but the Copacabana crowd was overwhelming, pushy, and the fan clacking got old real quick and all these things made the experience less enjoyable in my opinion.

Americans are addicted to their phones more than anyone else, and the average person who goes to Coachella wants it to be known they went there. It seems like people preferred taking videos and stories instead of just enjoying the show. Also - nobody knows how to have fun like Brazilians.

Why do you care how much the crowd is screaming? lol

I think the fact that faysalaaa and me agreed on something should be sufficient proof that this topic should not exist :trollga:

It was her big Pop comeback TBH. I think the Coachella show positively affected the anticipation for the Copacabana event.

It was the best performance of her career, at the time. Like, we knew she was back, but I think nobody knew she was back in such good shape, until then.
