She just sounds so over it and it's like she didn't even say that seriously. She'll have her hands so full with 3 children under the age of 4 real soon and any mother in that situation will tell you it's a mad house situation. Dealing with that and a beauty and lingerie empire is more than enough to be going on with. I just wish she'd tell us if she doesn't want to make music anymore instead of shamelessly teasing her fans. Debuting her baby bump at major events seems to be one of the few public outings we see from her these days and that says it all. I honestly think she feels so removed from that world now that she'd be too intimidated to come back. It can't be easy to see long-time stars in Beyonce, Taylor and Gaga still slaying it in her absence and all these new acts coming up and it perhaps makes her feel like there's no point. The industry has changed so much in the last 9 years, you can't just take a break that long and come back like nothing's happened.

I just wish we'd be a lot more realistic about her chances. If any other artist had taken a hiatus this long, we wouldn't be saying they could still smash it upon their return. If Gaga's most recent album was Joanne and she'd done literally nothing except Hold My Hand since then (this is the equivalent of what Rihanna's done) and focused on Haus Labs, I'd say her time had been and gone. Rihanna's last big legit chance of coming back was the Superbowl, but she chose to be pregnant instead and right there, we knew that this was her farewell performance.
