People understandably get defensive over their greats but I really agree with the idea that this level of superstardom hasn’t been seen since MJ. Not that she’s beating his fame or even meeting it, but I can’t think of anyone else whose gotten closer. And the fact that this is nearly twenty years into her career…

Once in a lifetime, during last century, the concert audience was there for the show, the artists, the ambiance. Dancing and singing. Not raising their stupidphones in the air, blocking the view for what ? Shitty vids to clog YT just to say 'I was there', mostly.

Some years ago at a Bob Dylan concert in Montreux, ppl had to stick their things (I mean their devices... their PHONES !) in a plastic pouch at the entrance against a voucher to get their preciousss back after the show. Even though, in this case it was probabaly more about Bob being tou©hy, this should be the way, I reckon.

It’s interesting to point out that the authorities initially estimated an audience of 1 million people, then it went up to 1.6 million and then to 2 million people. Gaga not only doubled the initial expectation but exceeded the final one! 

I never tire of saying how proud I am of her!
