Murakami27 5,997
The original was so good. I would just rewatch that instead.

iamdna 141
I grew up watching this show with my mom, when I was probably 8-10 years old, I would wake up in the middle of the night just to watch it before going to school. It was an obsession, just like Lady Gaga was. Desperate Housewives has been a huge source of inspiration for me. I'm so glad they're bringing it back, even if it’s not set in the present day. But sometimes, things have to end for a reason - by the last season, they had already jumped the shark quite a lot... I'm not sure we need yet another revival of something millennials are nostalgic about. Ngl, I'll probably give it a try, but my expectations are pretty low. Pablo 8,019
Don't know how I feel about this, it won't be the same and the original creator doesn't seem involved. Don't visit my profile

I've been obsessed with The Walking Dead too and that show taught me that it’s better to give a story a proper ending than to let it slowly fade and turn into something fans no longer enjoy watching. Desperate Housewives became also repetitive to be honest with the mid-season tragedies... And with the ending it had, a direct continuation with the same actresses doesn’t really make sense. Still, I think revisiting that iconic street of Wisteria Lane but in the past could be something really cool maybe for a short period of time. Last words of Mary Alice (obviously, SPOILERS AHEAD) were that the girls wouldn't see each other ever again (as sad as that made me, it makes sense, this way they prevent unnecessary sequels without the original creators) Edited April 30 by RudraCNG
Kayi 2,806
Please no... That's so uninspired. This community feeling and friendships were real before internet's apogee, political radicalization and pre-covid era. Now, this serie is specific to this era. In my peace era.
