Cavadour 2,315
The Countess went already straight to my heart. But Joanne made a definitive LM out of me. Ppl who call Joanne country for sure don't really know what country music is. They just loathe it. Bottle-fed up on the early Gaga albums sound, they didn't want it to change. The acoustic touch of Joanne wasn't their taste and they can still be really vocal about it. No forgiveness or even interest for the artist's moods and wanderings. Tolerance is not a youth's priviledge, generally speaking. Anyway, Joanne is a vocally masterful album. It still raises a large amount of staunch defenders devotion. To me Chromatica was also a letdown after Joanne. Yet now Mayhem seems to be the release on which -almost- everyone can agree. Ladle Ghoulash 21,748
Gaga doesnât have any bad albums in her discog, but I honestly donât find myself listening to anything other than MAYHEM atp We have forgotten our public MANNERS 1
Lucas 26,155
I love this album! The concept of the album is extremely weird (call me by the name of my dead aunt I never met) but purely in terms of music it's a breath of fresh air in Gaga's discography
SimonBaetens 8,294
I also love it, with the exception of A-Yo. Unique and diverse album in her discog and perfect lead up to A Star Is Born. Also, the tour for this album is so underrated, I think itâs one of her best productions, really strong in its simplicity. when you're lonely, I'll be lonely too / https://www.last.fm/user/SimonBaetens
Noir 16,870
I love Joanne but can also understand how itâs not everyoneâs cup of tea. The amount of promo she did was impressive/insane. Diamond Heart, Million Reasons and Joanne are all career highlights for me and I wouldâve loved that to be the singles run (I mean it kind of was). I agree objectively itâs probably not her best work, but I do return to it quite regularly.
