Not sure changing the ethnicity of the lead is the best choice... I'm also not sure who could get into Whitney Houston's shoes. Or if yet another remake of a cult movie is what we need. Don't get me wrong, some remakes are great and absolutely made for the right reasons, but I can already tell this won't bring anything new to the table.
